Run applications

You can run your favorite DOS programs on FreeDOS. Most programs should just run, but you may need to adjust your configuration such as FILES=40 or BUFFERS=40 for very large programs. If your app runs slow, try turning off FDAPM.

VisiCalc for DOS

Created by Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston for the Apple II and later for DOS, VisiCalc was the original spreadsheet for desktop computers. Thanks to Dan for sharing a free version on his website:
